2012 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 10,000 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 17 years to get that many views.

Big Ups to Basic Lee for giving us a booth to share at the PKG festival in Half Moon Bay. Project Knew Groove is a great non Profit organization providing opportunities for the community to foster artistic creativity through events, facilities, and educational programs on the San Mateo County Coast. Thanks to all the artists, musicians and writers at the event we had a blast.

Street Art Day at the Mah

We had a fun day teaching kids silkscreening, spray painting and mural making along with loads of other activities at The Museum of Art and History in Santa Cruz. Thanks to Stacey and Nina for organizing such a cool event hopefully the city will recognize the importance of street art in the future as a necessary cultural and global community based on creativity.
